The tales of the indigenous peoples of the North are available on digital platforms.

Gazprom Neft created the first digital library with rare tales of the indigenous peoples of the North, turning each work into an audio performance.

Visiting skazkisevera.ru, listeners can immerse themselves in the plots of 12 short stories, enlightening tales and mystical legends of the Nenets, Khanty and Mansi. Texts are read by professional actors. Audio tales are also available within VKontakte and Yandex Music.

One of the missions of the Gazprom Neft Native Towns social investment program is to preserve cultural heritage of the peoples of the North.

Some of the works of the project were recorded from the words of the indigenous peoples of the North back in the 1930s and have been preserved only in rare printed editions.

The organizers of the project plan to update annually the digital library with folklore works of the indigenous peoples of the North.
