Republican online competition «Мадæлон æвзаг-мадау адджын»

In order to increase the prestige of the Ossetian language, instilling the interest of the younger generation in the culture and traditions of the Ossetian people, strengthening the consolidating role of the Ossetian language in maintaining the unity and integrity of the multinational Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Republican online competition «Мадæлон æвзаг-мадау адджын» was held by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
The competition was held in the following categories: poetry (verses, excerpts from poems), prose (excerpt from the Nart epic) in five age categories:
1st group – pupils of preschool educational institutions;
2nd group – students of 1-4 grades;
3rd group – students of 5-7 grades;
4th group – students of 8-9 grades;
5th group – students of 10-11 grades;
In order to participate in the competition, it was required to record a video with a poem in the Ossetian language and publish the video by May 15, 2023 on the official page of the educational institution on the Vkontakte social network with a hashtag #мадауадджын2023.
The criteria for evaluating the performances of the participants were: knowledge of the text of the composition, meaningful transmission of the content of the composition, observance of rhythmic patterns, expressiveness and emotionality, complexity and richness of the performed work, acting, artistry, style of performance, appearance: selection of costume, attributes, corresponding to the content of the performed work. The performances of the contestants were evaluated by a competent jury.
