Клуб любителей мокшанского языка
Lovers of Mordovian culture had the opportunity to study the Moksha language in an online lesson with a certified philologist from Saransk, Oksana Belkina, as well as communicate with like-minded people and share information about their cultural roots.
The club began its work on the eve of International Mother Language Day, which was proclaimed by the General Conference of UNESCO in 1999 and is celebrated every year to protect linguistic and cultural diversity.
Club members expressed the hope that studying the Moksha language at the Gorky Library will contribute to the preservation of ethnic diversity and the formation of respect for the cultures of nationalities living in the Ryazan region.
