Our languages matter – Bunurong Country

Geographic Names Victoria worked with Bunurong Land Council to deliver an Our languages matter workshop which is an Aboriginal-led workshop which recognises the importance of Aboriginal place naming and helps to strengthen partnerships with Traditional Owners (TOs). – This was attended by over 40 Council officers and Traditional Owners. Attendees were taken through the importance of language and the processes to request the use of language.
