Interregional Song and Poetry Festival “All Life in one line” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Bulat Okudzhava’s birth

On May 2, together with the BRO of the Union of Writers of Russia, the library organized the interregional song and poetry festival “All Life in one Line”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bulat Okudzhava. The purpose of the festival is to preserve and enhance the creative heritage of Bulat Shalvovich Okudzhava, foster patriotism, exchange experience between creative teams, authors and performers of the author’s song, strengthen and develop creative ties between the regions of the Russian Federation. 86 participants from 17 districts of the Belgorod region and the city of Belgorod expressed their desire to try their hand at the competition program. The finalists were 26 people from Valuysky, Prokhorovsky, Gubkinsky, Veidelevsky, Shebekinsky, Borisovsky, Starooskolsky districts and Belgorod. The winners of the festival presented their performances in two categories on the stage of the museum “Battle for the Weapons of the Great Victory” in P. Prokhorovka: “Songs and poems by B. Okudzhava” and “Patriotic author’s songs and poems”. The guests of the event were Anna Artamonova (Moscow) – film director, actress, screenwriter, producer, bard, volunteer; Alexey Nikitin (Belgorod) – founder, leader, guitarist and vocalist of the band “Namamdele”; Arina Gunter – current vocalist, teacher of modern vocals, winner of international competitions, songwriter.
