«Культурные корни»

The interactive program was dedicated to the cultural customs and traditions of the nationalities historically living on Ryazan land. The children learned about the celebration of the national Tatar holiday Sabantuy, where the key elements are folk and sports games, songs, dances and national cuisine. They became acquainted with the Tatar winter holiday Nardugan and noted some similarities with Russian carol traditions. No less fascinating was the librarians’ story about Mordovian holidays, in which families traditionally participate. We also talked about the features of Slavic culture.
