All-Russian Children’s Folkloriada

From June 19 to 23, the All-Russian Children’s Folkloriada took place in Tatarstan,
bringing together more than 1,000 participants—young performers from folklore, dance,
vocal, and instrumental ensembles representing 80 regions of Russia.
The Chechen Republic was represented at this prestigious event by the “Goryanka”
choreographic ensemble from the SDK of Novoe-Solkushino, TsKS, Naursky District.
The ensemble was selected and sent to this grand festival by the Center for Folk Art.
The opening ceremony was held on June 20 in the historic center of Kazan, near the
Palace of Farmers.
The All-Russian Children’s Folkloriada is a unique creative project, carried out with the
financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, as part of the
national “Culture” project.
The Center for Folk Art and the A. Aydamirov National Library received letters of
appreciation from the heads of the V.D. Polenov State Children’s Art Center for the
outstanding performances of our young participants.
We extend our special thanks to Akhmed Bargishev, Head of the OK Naursky District,
and Malkh-Azni Iskhadzhoyeva, Head of the Delegation, for their excellent
organization of this trip!
We are confident that the Folkloriada will remain a cherished memory in the hearts of
these young performers for the rest of their lives.
