The regional festival of Veps culture “Enarne ma” annually gathers many guests and tourists on the first sunday of July at the “Zaitsevskaya Lyadinka” of the village of Tervenichi, etc. Wonozero.

The guests of the holiday will get acquainted with Vepsian hospitality. Everyone will be able to see the products of Oyat ceramics and Veps embroidery, as well as taste traditional pies “Kalitki”. Various master classes, songs and dances were also prepared for the guests in the “Zaitseva Lyadinka” – this is how the locals call the unusual place where the festival takes place.

 

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages. Please note that the platform has been inactive since February 2025 and no longer accepts new uploads.
