In the Languages of these Lands / Dans les langues de ces territoires is an outdoor exhibit that showcases a selection of Indigenous place names in 20 of the 60+ Indigenous languages from across Canada. Each of the 22 panels features a large image of the place, and information about the name’s origin and language. QR codes provide links to audio pronunciation (where available) and more information.
This exhibit runs from mid-June to November 2023 in the Plaza Bridge in downtown Ottawa, Ontario.
