Liliya Yadne from Tazovsky village was awarded the II place in solo performance of traditional songs, youth age category in an all – Russian festival Nomads of the North in Moscow in September 14-18, 2022.

Liliya graduated from Yamal multidisciplinary college in Salekhard and specializes in traditional Nenets singing in the Nenets folklore group Vi sey. Her repertoire includes folk and modern songs in Russian and Nenets languages, songs by famous Yamal singer Tatiyana Lar.

In 2022 Lilyia became the winner of the Ethnic festival Soul of the Tundra in the category Modern folklore songs, the winner of Grand Prix of Yamal Students’ festival  in 2022.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages.
