Master class within the concert program of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Udmurt Republic “Italmas” named after A.V. Mamontov.

Today, December 15, 2022, the Sverdlovsk State Regional Palace of Folk Art together with the Ural Center of Folk Art named after E.P. Rodygin in the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia held a master class as part of the concert program of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Udmurt Republic “Italmas” named after A.V. Mamontov.

The participants of the master class got acquainted with the diverse repertoire of the ensemble, which is based on Udmurt folk songs and dances, which are a true decoration of all concert programs. The concerts of the ensemble reflect the creativity of the Finno-Ugric peoples, as well as the works of P.I. Tchaikovsky, who was born in the Udmurt land.

The chief choreographer of the ensemble “Italmas” Evgeniya Vatoropina and his soloists Lyubov Konysheva and Andrey Seleznev shared with the participants of the master class:

✅ dance combinations from the golden fund of the ensemble – on the example of the vocal and choreographic composition “Udmurtia festive”;

✅ male combination and female rotation from the “Berghahn” room;

✅ a dance combination based on the material of Udmurt dance;

✅ fractional combination, built on the material of the Udmurt dance.
