Musical and poetic evening “Dombra in the Urals gathers friends” in the Sverdlovsk Regional International Library

On July 6, 2024, a wonderful event took place in the Sverdlovsk Regional Interethnic Library – a musical and poetic evening called “Dombra in the Urals gathers friends.” This event was organized with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region and the Public Organization “Regional National and Cultural Autonomy of the Kazakhs of the Sverdlovsk region”.

Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Mamutbekov, who emphasized the special importance of dombra in Kazakh culture. He noted that this instrument carries a deep sacred meaning and serves not only musical purposes, but is also a symbol of the nation. Dombra is not just a musical instrument, it is a part of the history and spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people.

The event “Dombra in the Urals gathers friends” was an excellent example of cultural cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Sverdlovsk region.

This event not only diversified the cultural life of the region, but also introduced visitors to the amazing world of Kazakh musical culture. We hope that such events will become traditional and will contribute to the further development of cultural exchange. Meeting with dombra in the Urals not only gathers friends, but also opens up new horizons of understanding and respect for the cultural heritage of various peoples.

It was a great evening filled with music, poetry and friendship, which left an unforgettable impression on all those present.

Evenings dedicated to cultural exchange and mutual understanding are an important element of modern society. The musical and poetic evening “Dombra in the Urals gathers friends” not only attracted the attention of Kazakh culture, but also contributed to strengthening friendly relations between people of different nationalities. Such events contribute to the formation of a society where every culture finds its recognition and respect.
