The city hippodrome hosted the Thousand and One Pilaf interethnic festival held in honor of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha. The guests of the festival attended master classes on cooking pilaf from the chefs and learned the secrets of cooking and serving this favorite dish, tasted it, and also watched a concert program that charged them with a good mood.

участники мероприятия рисовали стикеры на чукотском, русском языках и использовали их как в работе на начальной стадии освоения языка, так и поздравить, отправить приветствие родным, знакомым, друзьям вместо привычного смайлика.

The Government of the Republic of Namibia has ratified the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and is part of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. Annually, Namibia commemorates the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples on the 9th of August. In the past, the Division Marginalized Communities of the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication & Social Welfare has organized commemorative events in different regions to celebrate this day with indigenous communities.
