The children’s folklore group Tut Sultam (Sparkle) from Salekhard was awarded the II place in the category singing and performing at the all-Russian festival Nomads of the North in Moscow on October 14 – 18, 2022.

The group was created by a folklore specialist Elena Rybina in 2017 for children aged 3 and above interested in the culture of the Khanty people. Participants of the group perform old and modern songs in the Khanty language about nature and love for their homeland.

The folklore group regularly takes part in various local and national cultural and music contests and festivals. In 2022, the group won in the International Ethnic festival Soul of the Tundra in Salekhard in authentic folklore (group performance).
