The Republican ethno-cultural camp “Meeting of the young on the Karelian land” has started its work in the capital of Karelia

The event is attended by students of general education institutions studying Karelian, Vepsian, Finnish languages from Medvezhegorsky, Kalevalsky, Prionezhsky, Kondopozhsky, Pryazhinsky municipal districts, Kostomuksha and Petrozavodsk city districts, as well as from the Likhoslavlsky district of the Tver region.

Within 5 days, the participants will have an educational and cultural program, including classes on the basics of research and project work, creative meetings, visits to the National Museum, the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Karelia, the Resource Language Media Center of Karelians, Veps and Finns of Karelia and master classes on traditional culture.
