Antonina Syazi became a winner of the Saltykov, Laptsui, and Irikov literary prize in Yamal.

According to the results of the competition Antonina Syazi  became a winner in 2022.

Antonina Syazi from Salekhard won the competition with her work Lifted Reindeer Sledges written in the Khanty language. The story tells about her mother’s life during the World War II. At the age of 8 her mother and her family took several exhausting trips on reindeer sledges to the town of Vorkuta to bring handmade clothes and food: reindeer meat, fish and berries to front-line soldiers. During such trips the family shared all the little food they had with soldiers’ wives and their children.

According to the conditions of the competition Antonina Syazi will receive a monetary prize of 50 thousand roubles.
