Social activists of the "Pulngavat" national-cultural autonomy of the Khanty people in Salekhard held a series of meetings and visited kindergartens. More than 40 pupils of the "Mozaika" kindergarten for the first time watched "Cuckoo" play based on the folklore of the peoples of the North. The roles were performed by school students: Alexey Syazi, a third-grader of the Obdorsk gymnasium, and Diana Aleshkina, a first-grader of the school №1.

Lines from the poems of the Khanty poet and writer Prokopy Saltykov were heard at a meeting in the library named after Roman Rugin in Salekhard. The initiator of the meeting is Nina Eger, a teacher at the Yamal Multidisciplinary College. She collects pieces of information about the writer and puts them into a symbolic "box of memories". The very first book by Prokopy Saltykov, his rare photographs, and poems are kept here.

Vyacheslav Vanuito from the village of Yar-Sale, Yamalskiy district, got the title of "Master of the Folklore Genre of the Nenets people". He is an expert in the field of traditional Nenets culture and an original performer of authentic folklore, a member of the "Ngerm" folklore group. His songs were included in the collection "Lohortadrev Sena Hainaya" ("Let Our Songs Ring Like a Stream").

By the decision of the Expert Council in the area of folklore of the indigenous peoples of the North of Yamal-Nenets autonomous okrug, Zoya Karsavina from the village of Tolka, Krasnoselkupsky district, became the "Master of the Folklore Genre of the Selkup People".

Shuryshkar Museum Complex named after A. G.S. Puzyreva in the village of Muzhi opened a group for the study of the Khanty language "Lylang Yasang – a Living Word."

Lyudmila Kelchina from the village of Vosyakhovo, Shuryshkarsky District, became winner in the nomination of "Master of the Folklore Genre of the Khanty People" according to the results of the local competition for the title of "Master of the Folklore Genre".

The book "Lakhanako" became the winner in the "Best Publishing Project" nomination of the VI All-Russian Public Award "Keyword". The project of graphic adaptations of fairy tales in the Russian and Nenets languages was initiated by I.S. Shemanovsky Yamal-Nenets Museum and Exhibition Center and created by a team of authors from different institutions and cities. "Lakhanako" was published on September 3, 2022 at the opening of the project "Yamal Comics — 2022" .

Nature and Ethnographic Center in settlement of Gornoknyazevsk hosted a personal exhibition of works named "Tasma Is the Pride of a Man!" and devoted to the 65th birthday of Gennady Kelchin. He is a journalist, translator, master and collector of folklore, honored worker of culture of Yamal-Nenets autonomous okrug. The exposition included books written or translated by Gennady Kelchin, such as "The Humpbacked Horse" by Pyotr Ershov, Pushkin's fairy tales translated into the Khanty language, and "The Song of the Tegin Elder" heroic epic first released in 2020.

A public seminar with the participation of distinguished guests who have decades of experience in support of Romani language, culture, and human rights, organised by the Vigdís International Centre on the occasion of UNESCO’s World Day of Romani Language.

The EUROCALL 2023 Conference will be held in Reykjavik on 15-18 August 2023 as an in-person conference on campus of the University of Iceland. The focus of this year’s EUROCALL conference is on inclusiveness of all languages, which is also reflected in the main conference theme “CALL for all languages”. We particularly welcome papers that focus on supporting and promoting indigenous, endangered, and less commonly spoken languages, but themes related to other languages and language technologies in CALL are also very welcome.

В целях популяризации народного искусства, сохранения культурных традиций, памятников истории и культуры, этнокультурного многообразия, культурной самобытности всех народов и этнических общностей своего региона как неотъемлемой части сохранения культурного наследия Российской Федерации, формирования стабильной системы нравственных и смысловых установок личности, позволяющих противостоять идеологии экстремизма, национализма, ксенофобии, дискриминации по социальным, религиозным, расовым, национальным признакам и другим негативным социальным явлениям Министерством образования совместно с бюджетным профессиональным образовательным учреждением Омской области «Омский государственный колледж управления и профессиональных технологий» в период с 5 октября по 16 ноября 2022 года организована и проведена среди студентов ПОО областная научно-практическая конференция «Многоликое Прииртышье» (далее – Конференция). Общее количество участников Конференции составило 200 студентов ПОО. В очный этап Конференции вышли 46 конкурсных работ. Были определены победители и призеры по следующим секциям: «История населенных пунктов Омского Прииртышья»; «Сохранение исторической и культурной памяти в Омском Прииртышье», «Культурная жизнь Омского региона», «Традиционные обряды, обычаи и быт народов Омского Прииртышья в прошлом и настоящем»

27 октября 2022 года на базе Омского технологического коллежа прошла Областная олимпиада по литературе, посвященная 200-летию образования Омской области. Олимпиада проводилась среди обучающихся первого курса, обучающихся на базе основного общего образования. Участие в мероприятии приняли 29 команд в составе трех обучающихся (87 человек) из профессиональных образовательных организаций Омской области. Конкурсные задания для участников состояли из двух частей: задания в тестовой форме и творческого задания. Для разработки заданий в тестовой форме использовалась информация о жизни и творчестве выдающихся и знаменитых деятелей литературы и искусства, биографии которых связаны с Омской областью. Творческое задание – сочинить стихотворение с использованием 10 заданных слов (не менее двух четверостиший) на тему Омска и Омского региона, представить его перед членами жюри. Лучшие результаты показали команды образовательных организаций: 1 место – БПОУ ОО «Медицинский колледж», 2 место – БПОУ ОО «Омский строительный колледж», 3 место – БПОУ «Калачинский аграрно-технический техникум». Поощрительный приз жюри за лучшее стихотворение об Омске получила команда обучающихся Омского института водного транспорта (филиала) ФГБОУ ВО «СГУВТ». В рамках олимпиады, сопровождающие команду обучающихся педагогические работники, приняли активное участие в викторине, посвященной творчеству Ф.М. Достоевского. Победителем викторины, заработав своей команде дополнительный балл и поощрительный приз, стала преподаватель русского языка и литературы БПОУ ОО «Омский колледж транспортного строительства» Супрядкина И.В. В торжественной обстановке командам победителям и призерам были вручены Дипломы, статуэтки, сувенирные альбомы с видами Омска «Любинский проспект» и другие призы. Участники олимпиады получили сертификаты, а преподаватели – благодарность за подготовку обучающихся. Мероприятие прошло в дружеской позитивной обстановке и доставило удовольствие всем присутствующим.

Celebration of the International Romani Day will be organised for the first time in Iceland on 8 April 2022 with a programme that highlights the literature and culture of one of Europe’s minorities (Roma/Gypsies) that has suffered centuries of discrimination and that also have a history of presence in Iceland.
