Ancient Future Wisdom - this is the title for the series of one-hour talks. Indigenous people’s leadership and the structures within which they organise themselves are based on a complex system of knowledge, wisdom, intuition, relationships and various language modalities. Indigenous languages carry traces of local cultures, customs, behaviours, and values, visible or hidden, tangible or only recognised in the melody or their rhythms, enduring for thousands of years. They are living languages, sourced from the land, expressing the connections with the land, beings and cosmic cycles. Indigenous wisdom is now powerfully inviting us to extend the gift of listening to our past generations. Collectively, we have a potential to surface a deeper form of wisdom to embody and enact inspired action that can help the world thrive. Six dialogues across various time zones will allow participants from all around the world to share their indigenous knowledge and wisdom about leadership and decision-making structures, uncovering their underlying structures and embedded messages. At the same time, we will listen to our inner intuitive voices to transmit important messages from our collective consciousness for today and the next 7 generations to come. Drawing on the notion of Nepantla – a concept used in Chicano and Latino anthropology, social commentary, criticism, literature and art to represent the notion of "in-between-ness,” we will explore the space between two times of civilisation — the interstitial time of co-creation and the collective self-realization of the next stage of human presence on Earth.
