UNESCO Bangkok and Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center, with the support of the Wikimedia Foundation, facilitated the participation of six Indigenous youth from Ratanakiri Province, Cambodia, to attend the 11th Cambodia International Film Festival (2022). The film "A Tasty Drop", produced by Indigenous youth filmmaking trainee Ramich Moeurn, was selected to open the festival, where he delivered opening remarks in his native Tampuan language in front of some 700 film enthusiasts and the Cambodia Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, H.E. According to the results of the regional competition among young people, Ilya Serotetto from Nadym gained the lead for the best author's project in the field of folklore and languages of the indigenous peoples of the North. The “House of Singing Voices” project is being implemented in Nadym at the expense of grant funds from Rosmolodezh and the Yamal Youth Initiatives Project Office. As a result of the competition, Ilya Serotetto received an award of 50,000 rubles. The competition is devoted to the International Decade of Indigenous Languages and the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.

Massimiliano Verde, President of the Neapolitan Academy and organized in collaboration with the Council of the Naples Bar Association as well as the “Alfredo De Marsico” Library of Castel Capuano, is multilingualism as a principle and value protected by international law. On the occasion of the 2022 International day of the Mother language, we introduce the case of the Neapolitan language as a vulnerable language. The conference enjoys the moral patronage of the Consulate of the Republic of Nicaragua, competent for the Campania Region.
