“Nhe’ẽ Porã: Memória e Transformação” opens in September and will be entirely dedicated to Brazilian indigenous languages.

This COLING summer school will be centered on knowledge and the full cultural meaning of science. Over five sessions, it will focus on the interrelated themes of nurturing language, sharing innovative methods for education, alternative epistemologies, and the linkages between the sciences and the arts. Its central thread of reclaiming knowledge will also deal with histories of displacement, trauma, and community responses.

May 14, 2022 the Shuryshkarsky District Museum Complex named after G.S. Puzyrev in the village of Muzhi hosted the “Native word” contest of young readers in the Khanty language. More than forty children including pupils of the “Buratino” and the “Little Fawn” kindergartens and students of the Muzhi School participated in the competition.

On June 25-26, 2022, the village of Muzhi, Shuryshkarsky district, hosted the III Open District Ethno-Forum “My Shuryshkarsky”. It was attended by twenty folklore groups and residents of Shuryshkarsky district, the cities of Salekhard and Labytnangi, guests from the city of Inta (Komi Republic) and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

According to the results of the regional competition among young people, Ilya Serotetto from Nadym gained the lead for the best author's project in the field of folklore and languages of the indigenous peoples of the North. The “House of Singing Voices” project is being implemented in Nadym at the expense of grant funds from Rosmolodezh and the Yamal Youth Initiatives Project Office. As a result of the competition, Ilya Serotetto received an award of 50,000 rubles. The competition is devoted to the International Decade of Indigenous Languages and the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.

Massimiliano Verde, President of the Neapolitan Academy and organized in collaboration with the Council of the Naples Bar Association as well as the “Alfredo De Marsico” Library of Castel Capuano, is multilingualism as a principle and value protected by international law. On the occasion of the 2022 International day of the Mother language, we introduce the case of the Neapolitan language as a vulnerable language.
