The Nenets language teacher Yuliya Aivasedo from Kharampur village of the Purovsky district in Yamal became a participant of the all-Russian professional competition The best teacher of the native language and native literature - 2022 held in Zheleznovodsk, Stavropolskiy krai in September 2022.

Liliya graduated from Yamal multidisciplinary college in Salekhard and specializes in traditional Nenets singing in the Nenets folklore group Vi sey.
The Nenets fairy tale A Man and a Dog was staged on September 26, 2022, in Tazovsky village in the kindergarten Olenyonok (Reindeer).
The children's folklore group Tut Sultam (Sparkle) from Salekhard was awarded the II place in the category singing and performing at the all-Russian festival Nomads of the North in Moscow on October 14 - 18, 2022.
The group was created by a folklore specialist Elena Rybina in 2017 for children aged 3 and above interested in the culture of the Khanty people. Participants of the group perform old and modern songs in the Khanty language about nature and love for their homeland.

Lyudmila Kelchina, traditional songs performer, a native speaker of the Khanty language who lives in the village of Vsyakhovo, Shuryshkarsky area celebrated her 75th birthday on 30 September, 2022.
Lyudmila is a teacher, a songwriter, a connoisseur of folklore, one of the true keepers of traditional songs and dances of the Khanty people.
Lyudmila carefully selected the repertoire for the group which included lyrical and ritual songs, songs based on the lyrics of famous authors (M. Vagatova, A. Sengepov, M. Lapina, S. Kondygina, R. Rugina, P. Saltykov, I. Istomin, etc.), successfully used other genres of traditional art – rituals, fairy tales, games, riddles, etc.

In September 2022, students of the boarding school in the village of Beloyarsk, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, learned how to study their native language with the help of apocrypha (fictional stories). Olga Pando, Khanty language teacher, and Olga Anisimova, history teacher , showed the children materials collected during the project.

Seven children from Salekhard and the village of Aksarka, Priuralsky District, made their debut as actors in a children's movie ‘Imi Khily’.
The film was shot in the Khanty language with the use of folklore and Russian subtitles. Eighteen adults also took part in the filming.
Filming took place in July 2021. Zinaida Longortova, the director, chose picturesque places on the fishing sands of Vandiyazy, Shuryshkarsky District. The film's operators are Valery Krylov and Artur Ryabintsev.
Eremey Aipin is a famous Russian and Khanty writer, chairman of the Assembly of representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug–Yugra. He paid a visit to the Priuralsky District of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The publication is written in Sobsk dialect of Khanty language with a translation into Russian. Most of the stories the author heard in the childhood from her relatives. Thus, the story «The dog Tyapa came back» tells about animals’ devotion to its master, and about the legend that it’s not allowed to give or sell the dogs female because it can be the reason of misfortune and losing the flock of reindeers.

Праздник реализован в формате программы «Дорогами овсяного медведя» - путешествия кукольно-фольклорного театра коренных народов Ленинградской области «Кагракару»
В Ленинградской областной универсальной научной библиотеке, на постоянной основе, работает книжно-иллюстративная выставка «Возрождая сохраним!» посвященная культуре и литературе коренных малочисленных народов Ленинградской области.
25 февраля в Библиотеке семейного чтения Большой Ижоры Ломоносовского района, прошел «День коренных народов Ленинградской области».
