Второй год проводится в Хабаровском крае конкурс "Мой язык – мои крылья"! Победители краевого конкурса становятся участниками Всероссийского конкурса на лучшее сочинение о своей культуре на русском языке и описание русской культуры на родном (не русском) языке. В прошлом году школьница села Кондон стала призером. В этом году участие в конкурсе приняли 4 школьника края.

На территории Крайнего Северо-Востока России издревле жили коренные малочисленные народы Севера. Достаточно много археологических находок, доказывающих давнюю историю жизни людей в этом суровом крае, было найдено здесь во времена освоения этих земель и в советские годы. Узнать историю эвенов, коряков, чукчей, юкагиров, камчадалов, якутов можно на сайте ethnobook.ru. На сайте можно найти письменные и рукотворные исторические свидетельства коренных малочисленных народов Севера. Но главное – это видеозаписи людей, которые помнят уклад жизни предков, делятся живыми воспоминаниями своего детства, юности, взрослой жизни. Магаданская областная библиотека имени А. С. Пушкина, Магаданский областной краеведческий музей, ассоциация КМНС Магаданской области под эгидой Магаданской областной общественной организации работников культуры объединили усилия с целью воплощения в жизнь масштабного проекта «ЭТНОКНИГА Крайнего Северо-Востока России» по сохранению историко-культурного наследия коренных малочисленных народов Севера. В этом году к участию в проекте присоединилась Камчатская краевая научная библиотека имени С. П. Крашенинникова, центр народного творчества, ассоциация коренных народов края. Административные границы наших регионов проходят по территории этнического проживания народов с похожим хозяйственным укладом. Исторически народы двух территорий имеют тесную культурную и родовую связь. Поэтому команда проекта, теперь уже таким расширенным составом продолжит работу по созданию целостной этнографической картины Крайнего Северо-Востока России. Наша инициатива уже третий раз поддержана Российским фондом культуры в рамках федерального проекта «Творческие люди» национального проекта «Культура» министерством культуры Российской Федерации. 15 июня 2023 состоялась пресс-конференция проекта «ЭТНОКНИГА Крайнего Северо-Востока России» в большом зале Областной библиотеки имени А. С. Пушкина с прямым телемостом членов нашей команды с Камчатки. Два главных книгохранилища Дальнего Востока – Магаданской области и Камчатского края – собрались, чтобы не только поприветствовать друг друга, но и решить предстоящие задачи, которые поставила перед собой команда проекта. Сайт ethnobook.ru будет называться «ЭТНОКНИГА Крайнего Северо-Востока России». Он пополнится описанием новых народностей, увеличится его электронная библиотека, появятся новые видеоматериалы.

В Секторе по работе с молодёжью Магаданской области для детей и молодёжи прошёл информационный урок «Сохраним язык – сохраним народ: языковое культурное наследие малых народов России», целью которого было подчеркнуть важность сохранения для будущих поколений языков и духовного наследия этих народов. Пользователи библиотеки из книг, представленных на выставке, могли узнать о состоянии языка, фольклоре, литературе, самобытных традициях, промыслах и культуре малых народов.

On August 6, 2023, the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples "Aboriginal Day" was held at the U Kutkha ethno site. An exhibition of arts and crafts and various thematic areas were presented for residents and guests of the Kamchatka Territory. During the holiday, the native speech of the indigenous inhabitants of the peninsula sounded. The hosts and participants of the concert greeted everyone in Itelmen, Koryak, Even and Chukchi languages. Thanks to this, there was a complete immersion in the culture of the natives of Kamchatka.

XV Regional competition of children's Kazakh creativity "Anshi balapan-Singing chick" will be held on September 30, 2023. There are six nominations in the competition: "Solo singing", "Vocal ensemble", "Folk dance", "Instrumental performance: solo", "Instrumental performance: ensemble" and "Artistic word". Creative competition is held by children from 5 to 15 years old, in two age categories from 5 to 10 years old and from 11 to 15 years old.

The conference is the 29th installment of the LIPP-Symposium (https://www.symp.gwi.uni-muenchen.de/past-conferences/) organised by doctoral students in the Class of Language at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (https://www.en.lipp.uni-muenchen.de/) and funded by the Graduate School Language & Literature. The conference will take place in hybrid format in Munich between 07-10 December 2023. The conference is free of charge for all participants. We especially want to encourage language workers, students, and early-career researchers to participate, but are happy to welcome all interested members of the audience, irrespective of disciplinary background and stage of career. When SIL launched its participation in UNESCO’s International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL) in June 2022, SIL Executive Director Michel Kenmogne announced a series of events to be held throughout the Decade to connect with partners, give a global update, and highlight different language communities around the world. The first of these events will convene on 19 September 2023, in Oaxaca, Mexico. SIL and partners invite you to be join this gathering online. Participants will include representatives of indigenous groups, academics, policy makers, translators, and other stakeholders.

Our gathering supports, strengthens and celebrates our Indigenous languages and our theme Bringing Our Languages Home focuses on strengthening and reintegrating the languages back into our homes and communities. Our goal is to provide all participants with meaningful and sustainable approaches to help them further language learning, teaching, and retention in the home, communities, and classrooms.
